Interiors of Distinction came highly recommended by a good friend of ours.
I can’t emphasize enough how fortunate we have been, in finding Stephen.
He has transformed our home to the highest of standards.
From advice on colour scheming, lighting & design, followed by his fantastic decorating skills & attention to detail.
Stephen is a hard working, highly motivated craftsman, with a very friendly professional attitude, always keen to give advice. Absolutely the tidiest worker we have ever had in our home.
It has been a delight to have Stephen around our home & I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending his work to anyone!
Many thanks for the fabulous job.

2020 TRENDS / NEWS BLOG:
Stephen keeps you up to date with the latest Trends, News and Advice on how to add value to your property.
Trends / News / Blog
Whilst ‘trends’ change & evolve, they do so at different paces. Some remain popular for years. The overall look for 2020 seems to continue from 2019, with understated luxury, mixing beauty with imperfection.
The Colour palette for 2020 will reflect this sense of richness & luxury with sensuous jewel tones.
Ruby reds, emerald greens, sapphire blues will feature heavily.
Use these colours with backdrops of deeper Matt blues, greys & even natural blacks, for a dramatic look.
Soften the look with muted hues, like lavender & lilac.
Grey has been huge over the last few years.
Grey still has a place, however a new colour is on the horizon & yes it’s ‘Beige’.
We are not talking magnolia here.
Beiges that I am talking about are those less yellow, warmer greyer beiges, with a hint more softness.
Example; ‘Elephants Breath’ by Farrow & Ball.
Coral pinks to pastel peach, to dark rust to deep chocolate browns will be winners in 2020.
METALS, after the popularity of Rose gold, its on its way out, making way for mixing metals such as brass, gold & copper, creating a warm feel in the home.
it looks great with rough timbers & brickwork.

My final thoughts?
At the end of the day, decorating interiors is not all about the latest trends, style guides & following rules.
Yes! there will always be a certain look that captures our imagination, sweeping into our homes in waves, before retreating & making way for the next batch.
Its more about creating a home you will feel comfortable & relaxed in, a home that is personal to you......
Best wishes, Stephen
